About this directory
What this directory is
Klang Valley Pickleball Court Guide is an independent directory covering 126 pickleball court businesses across the Klang Valley, from community hall setups to dedicated club facilities. It exists for players who want a straight comparison of where to play: which venues have indoor or outdoor courts, how they’re rated, what facilities they offer, and how they stack up against each other. If you’re new to the area or just tired of guessing which court actually has decent lighting and enough parking, this is built for you.
We are also honest about the other half of what we do. Klang Valley Pickleball Court Guide is an independent directory and comparison resource, and we generate enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with a court or coaching provider, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for that. This never touches the rankings you see on the site. Referral arrangements do not affect scores or earned positions in any list, and the full disclosure sits on the quote page whenever you request a match.
Where the listing data comes from
Every profile here draws on public business information (locations, hours, court counts, amenities) combined with a synthesis of recent Google reviews. We read the review patterns and summarise what they say about a venue’s condition, booking process, and atmosphere. We do not republish review text itself; instead we link out to the source on Google so you can read reviews in full and form your own view.
How rankings are earned
Every ranking on this site comes from a published rubric applied consistently to the data we collect, nothing else. You can read the full scoring criteria on our /methodology/ page. Sponsorship, where it exists, is labelled clearly as “Sponsored” and displayed separately from the earned ranking. Paying for a sponsored slot never changes a court’s score or its position in the ranked list; the two systems are kept apart on purpose.
A listed business can contact us to correct factual details on its own profile, such as hours, address, or court count. What it cannot do is edit its own score, sentiment summary, or ranking position. Those stay under editorial control, not business control.
Who’s behind it and how current it is
This directory is published by Meridian Guides, which launched in 2025 and builds independent city directories across Malaysia, starting with Klang Valley’s pickleball scene. Editorial oversight of the rankings sits with Janice, Editor, who maintains the rubric and reviews how it’s applied across listings. Data is refreshed monthly across the whole directory, and each listing carries a “last verified” stamp so you can see exactly when it was last checked rather than take that on faith.
Questions, corrections, or a business enquiry about your own listing can go to hello@meridianguides.my, or visit the publisher at meridianguides.my.
